What time zone do you live in?
Eastern time zone

Do you have a headset and Ventrilo?
Yes I do. How chatty I am depends on who is on with me. During 25 mans I prefer to let the raid leaders speak epically in progression fights. In the past when I am in a tank or leadership role I will speak up since that I feel it is required. I know how easy it is to ignore raid or party chat during boss fights

What is your main character's name, race, class, and Main spec/Dual Spec (if you don't have explain why)? Judit, undead priest shadow/holy

Why did you choose these specs?
I have been shadow spec since BC because I wanted a class that had raid utility. At the time, shadow Priests served as mana batteries and increased the DPS that warlocks put out. Netherweave Nets were very useful on the Vash fight. Now in WOTLK the mana regen is not as important but I still enjoy shadow very much. I find it challenging to keep balancing dots and trying to maximize up time without clipping my primary dots. It is much more rewarding then spamming one or two buttons as I found to be the case with other classes.
I took holy as my off spec during Ulduar when Fire Within was short on healers. I prefer holy over Disciple because I tend to more of a raid healer then a tank healer. Since my first healer was a druid I tend to pepper the raid with renews and saving my shield for the person who needs the speed bonus Body and Soul to get out of the fire.
I would be willing to do any role, I enjoy seeing the content most of all. I do prefer shadow to Holy only because I tend to get locked in on my raid frames while I play whack a mole keeping people alive.

Armory Link (make sure it shows your raiding gear):

--rate your current gear, is it good enough to raid End game content or do you still need to run ToC and heroics?
my gear in shadow spec gear is good enough to raid end game content, I may struggle with some higher end heroics in ICC

What are your two professions and their levels (if not maxed, explain why)?
1st Profession: Skill Level: Tailoring
2nd Profession: Skill Level: Enchanting

What is your past raiding experience?
--pre-BC? none

--BC? I was a member of Fire Within’s tank team during BC.
Pre nerf we had cleared up to blood boil. After 3.0 and the nerf came out we only raided as a guild once and did up to council

--Wrath? I have seen every fight in wrath with exception of the Ruby Sanctum. I have personally never killed Sindragosa ( saw every aspect of the fight) or the Lich King (did up to phase two or three depending on if you consider the transition portion a phase. The last phase I saw was the phase with defile and the Val'kyr’s dropping people over the edge if they are not dps’ed enough. I have never done the Ruby Sanctum. I have read the strats and seen the videos

What are the names of your alts?
I have an 80 warrior Kazzez, an 80 druid Charyoutree, maclovin 80 pally and falachd my newest 80 death knight

What guilds and servers did you play on previously and why did you leave?
I have only played on this server since its launch. shortly after BC came out I was an officer in Ka Tet, I joined fire within to raid as the other officers in Ka Tet were not intereasted in raiding I stayed in fire within until shorty after Ulduar was launched when a larger percentage of the officers took extended time off. Eventually many of them joined Crimson Tempest and I did not choose to go with them because I was starting grad school full time, I had a friend who was in Elite and joined them to be much more casual. However, recently the officers of Elite have all taken sabbaticals and have not let anyone know when or if they will be back.

How did you find out about DK?
I have seen you guys around since BC, Abrielle has spoken very highly of the way the guild carries itself. Some of the things she describes are the way we used to do things in Fire Within; i.e. calling out people who make mistakes (IMO it is the only way to learn) and no excessive time wasting during loot rolls

Why do you wish to join DK?
I would like to join a guild that is very stable and does not have a negative reputation on the server for moronic behavior. My goal is to be in a guild that the members support one another though the rest of wrath and though out the leveling process once cataclysm comes out. From what I have read and observed that I believe that describes Dread knights.

Any current members of DK that can vouch for you?
Abrielle

How many of our raid nights can you attend (raid schedule is posted on the public forums)?
According to Abrielle the three main raid nights are Tue Wed and Thurs, I would be able to make them,. I am accustomed to making a post if I could not make it one of those nights.

Have you read and agree to all the guild rules?
Yes.

Gear looks good for ICC25. ICC raiding is mostly on 10 man side but kills up for 10/12 ICC. I'll let someone else comment on spec, glyphs, and gemming.

Change boot chant to tuskars vitality, the run speed boost has massive utility and should be on every boot except for pallies and dks and mutilate rogues.

If you have separate dps and healing wpns then put black magic on your dps wpn.

Get 2 points in IMP ST and drop mental agility as mana is not an issue. Get 5/5 Imp Mind blast as that is your highest dps ability and get 2/2 Veiled shadows as the shadow fiend is a short burst of DPS boost for you, again mana not an issue. Drop in Imp PW:shield and inner focus. You can move 2 points out of Focused Mind or Imp VE.

I think holy reach is often more useful than test of faith in your holy spec. Otherwise looks fine.

PST an officer for ginvite.

Drop glyph of dispersion and grab glyph of SWP. Lower cool down on dispersion doesn't help on any boss fights in ICC and using it other then transition spots is a dps loss.

What Rav said below - 2/2 Veiled shadows lets you have two shadowfiends per boss, cast one at the start and the second will be ready for BL near the end.
